No one ever said that creating and fostering a positive corporate culture would be easy. In fact, it can often be quite difficult. But it’s definitely worth the effort! A positive corporate culture is a key to a successful business.
Motivational speaker Jim Rohn famously said that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with.
This relates to the law of averages, which is the theory that the result of any given situation will be the average of all outcomes.
Now I want you to ask yourself, do leaders create culture or does culture create leaders? We would argue that it is both: culture and leaders influence each other.
People are inspired by vision. They want to follow a leader who shows concerns and values that are important to them. More than ever, employees want a sense of ‘purpose’ and ‘value’ at work. You need people who think anything is possible and have the tenacity to accomplish it.
